Desired Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker

• Knowledge of IEPs and participation in multidisciplinary teams is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ social, emotional, or behavioral needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Counsel students individually and in groups to address issues including bullying, family dynamics, attendance, and mental health
• Support families as they navigate school and community resources
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and external agencies to promote a positive school climate
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations on social/emotional goals
• Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to legal and ethical standards
