Physical Therapist – Inpatient & Pediatric Outpatient

Shift: Full-Time; Days, Monday-Friday; rotating Saturday inpatient coverage approximately once every two months

Grundy County Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients requiring physical therapy services in inpatient and pediatric outpatient settings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans designed to meet each patient's goals and functional needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support recovery, mobility, and independence.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide guidance and supervision to physical therapist assistants and support personnel as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, progress, and home exercise programs.
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team discussions to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, program development, and departmental goals.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of accredited educational program in physical therapy

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Current license, in good standing, to practice physical therapy in the state of Iowa, or eligible.
