What You'll Do:

• Champion Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards. Ensure all drill and blasting standards are followed.
• Operate Equipment. Run DM30 and T4 when possible. Run the Hitachi 365 for top bench rock-breaking or imbricated sales, depending on the attachment. Operates as the backup truck driver. Move material in articulated trucks when needed.
• Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Skills You'll Need: Experience. Experience in the Mining or Aggregate industry is preferred. Acceptable performance, maintenance, and safety history are required. Flexibility. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
