Sanitation Team Member

Job TitleDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Sanitize and rinse equipment ensuring SSOP procedures are followed carefully.Operate hand pumps and portable foam containers to sanitize equipmentUse high pressure water sprayer systems to wash equipmentUse scrub brushes high pressure hoses, hand scrubbers, scrappers, ladders, extension poles, boom/scissor lifts to perform sanitation activitiesWork with cleaning agents and chemicalsWash foods tubs, containers, and utensilsPerform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, drying floors, picking-up trash, organizing equipment, wipe down equipment and squeegee wet surfacesPerform visual inspection of all equipment to ensure proper quality of workReport damaged equipment to supervisor/leadEnsure all equipment is left in sanitary conditionPerform work in a fast-paced environment, maintain production and quality requirementsMaintain knowledge, understanding and adhere to safety policies, USDA, GMP's, QA, HACCAP, and sanitation rules and regulations, and company policiesRegular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this positionAll other duties, as assigned.SKILLS:Must be able to work under general supervision; understand and carry out instructionsBasic knowledge of how to set up machinery and to use hand tools to dismantle and reassemble equipmentGood communication skillsMust be able to follow all GMP's and Sanitation proceduresEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
