Pricing Analyst

Pricing Analyst (Temporary - 6 Month Assignment) Cranbury, NJ | Full-Time Temporary Assignment Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst for a 6‑month temporary assignment. This role will support pricing operations, customer deductions, commissions, credits/debits, and rebate processing while partnering closely with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Business Management teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills, pricing analysis experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced corporate environment. Responsibilities Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies identified on daily pricing variance reports. Partner with Customer Service, Business Management, and Sales teams to research and resolve pricing‑related issues. Coordinate and process mass price updates, especially during contract season and company‑wide price increases. Run pricing and sales‑related reports for assigned sales representatives. Support quarterly pricing activities related to Colgate pricing programs. Process US and Canada CUPS (Credit Upon Proof of Sale) rebates by monthly deadlines. Maintain and update CUPS trackers, pricing updates, and rebate discrepancy logs. Research and validate export commission requests while collaborating with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. Process service billing requests and maintain commission tracking documentation. Process domestic and export customer credits/debits submitted by Customer Service and approved by Business Management. Investigate unpaid customer deductions (UCDs), customer short payments, and invoice deductions with AR and Sales teams. Provide audit support documentation for quarterly and annual audits. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in a corporate finance, pricing, accounting, or analytical role. Experience with JDE preferred. Strong understanding of pricing processes, order‑to‑delivery flow, credits/debits, and customer deductions. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a deadline‑driven environment. Preferred Skills Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, AR/AP, and Customer Service. Strong attention to detail and follow‑through. Ability to identify process improvements and support operational efficiencies.
