Supply Chain Inventory Analyst

Job Description This position will be responsible for the management of day-to-day movements, cycle counting, auditing and bin accuracy of warehouse inventory. The role also manages repack, damages and slow-moving stock, reports inventory cost variances, provides root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages and damages in the warehouse, and utilizes the Warehouse Management System and SAP. The Inventory Analyst partners with the Supply Chain Planning team to optimize inventory locations within the warehouse to increase productivity. Responsibilities Process owner for Inventory Management and best practices within the warehouse Provide weekly inventory financial data, analysis and reporting Serve as a key liaison to internal customers for all stock inventory allocation requirements Responsible for the daily execution of stock inventory movements in WMS Analyze, reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis Manage inventory locations and site capacity, optimizing locations for productivity and throughput Lead the execution of inventory record accuracy through weekly cycle counting and annual physical inventory requirements Participate actively in internal and external inventory audits Manage inventory movement between buildings Ensure slow-moving product inventory is reviewed and dispositioned in a timely manner Maintain positive, professional and timely communication with internal customers and external contacts Actively participate in the continuous improvement process Adapt to flexible work assignments to support business volume and/or department requirements Perform additional duties as required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in distribution/warehouse logistics; BA/BS degree preferred APICS CPIM certification preferred Proven experience with inventory control processes and root cause analysis Demonstrated financial acumen, ability to review, reconcile and report financial data related to inventory value Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); JDA (Red Prairie) a plus Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP); SAP a plus Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize with urgency Self-directed and proactively identifies and resolves discrepancies or potential issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem identification and issue resolution follow-through Ability to work well with a variety of individuals High analytical ability and advanced Excel reporting skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) Benefits Safety is our top priority.
