This is a fully remote role tailored for licensed clinical social workers who wish to provide essential mental health services within educational settings. You will collaborate closely with educators and other professionals to create a support system for students facing a variety of challenges.

  • Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health needs, establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship with students and families.

  • Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique issues and goals of each client, ensuring ongoing evaluation and adjustment as needed.

  • Provide evidence-based therapy sessions in individual, couples, or family contexts, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

  • Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to student well-being.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including progress notes and treatment updates, in compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Engage in regular professional supervision and development activities to stay current on best practices, legal standards, and ethical considerations.

  • Advocate for clients’ needs within the educational setting, ensuring that appropriate resources and referrals are made when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position is particularly focused on supporting school-aged children and adolescents, along with their families. You will work closely with students who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other mental health challenges. Your role will be pivotal in fostering emotional and social growth among youth, as you collaborate with parents, teachers, and school administrators to support each child’s educational journey.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of California.

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in clinical social work, preferably in educational or community settings.

  • Proven knowledge of mental health diagnostics, therapeutic interventions, and crisis management methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
