Maintenance II (Direct Hire)

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance II to join their team. As a Maintenance II, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with benefits.

Job Title: Maintenance II (Direct Hire) Location: Evansville, IN Pay Range: $28.80 plus $2500 Sign-On Bonus Shift: 3rd Shift (10pm-630am) Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Assist in maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance planner
• Log all work performed on maintenance work orders and repairs in SAP
• Support safety and quality policies, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Participate in troubleshooting and equipment repairs using various tools and techniques

What's Needed?

• 2-year degree in Industrial Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, or equivalent experience
• Mechanical repair skills, including welding and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production personnel
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights or in confined spaces
