Charger Logistics is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant - Safety & Compliance to support our Driver Recruitment and Safety Department. This position is ideal for candidates with a valid CDL License and previous experience in administration, transportation, driver recruiting, safety, compliance, dispatch, or fleet operations.
Responsibilities- Support driver recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
- Maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files and compliance records.
- Assist with driver orientation and training programs.
- Monitor and update driver documentation to ensure DOT and company compliance.
- Provide administrative support to the Safety & Compliance team.
- Prepare reports, maintain records, and perform data entry.
- Assist drivers, employees, and visitors with inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B License required.
- Previous administrative experience in transportation, trucking, logistics, safety, compliance, dispatch, or fleet operations preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Alternate Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
