Job Description\n TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Marion, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 48 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n UNIT: ICU\n MANAGER INTERVIEW\n Required Certs: Must have current IL license (will accept an active temp IL License). AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.\n Minimum Experience: Must have 2 years of ICU experience, prefer 3. 1 travel assignment required.\n Float Requirement: if needed, would float to step down level care\n Weekend/Holiday Requirement: every other weekend/every other holiday rotation\n Ratios (ICU: 2:1, Stepdown: 3:1)\n Skillset:\n REQUIRED: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills. Tele/EKG interpretation (will take an exam first day), ETT/vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.), sepsis protocols/care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocol. Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!\n PREFERRED: TPA administration/assessments, massive transfusion (Belmont).\n Unit Information: 18 beds. Patients are a mix of ICU and step-down level of care. Does charge nurse take patients? Yes\n Unit Strengths: has a good core group of staff.
