Mechanical Engineering/Installation Supervisor

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Installation Supervisor to join our Group Technology team! This position requires field based supervision and installation and the ability to relocate for extended time periods to project sites.**We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.** You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects for extended periods of time in the U.S. and/or Canada/Europe. Join us and make a difference!What You Will Be DoingYou’ll own the site installation, testing and commissioning of our production equipment and solutions. Working with mainly installation, commissioning, and running-in of major projects, you’ll ensure that all equipment within the factory is supplied where required.As an expert, we look for your expertise:Take full responsibility for project execution with respect to installation, testing and commissioningOnsite supervision of install crews of suppliers/contractors and follow up to ensure compliance with requirements is paramount. Project management experience requiredEnsure that all site work is done safely and in accordance with best practice site safetyEnsure all documentation / reporting is done and archived following company directives and Group Technology rules, and available toolsEnsure that the necessary expertise from other departments - environment, safety, MMR’s, are included in solutionsOccasional travel inside and outside of North America is to be expected for project execution, supplier visits, coordination, etc. What You BringDegree in Mechanical Engineering or experience in lieu of degree5+ years working in a similar position, with site installation and machine construction80% of the time on project sites, requiring temporary relocation for 2+ years at a time for projectsStrong communication skillsAbility to travel occasionally, both nationally and internationallyPreference given to candidates who have smith, mechanic or other type of craftsman expertiseWhat We OfferCompetitive Pay & Benefits from Day 1: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans. 401K Match: Up to 6% Paid Time Off: Generous PTO, 12 paid holidays, and parental leave. The base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 - 135,000.00.
