Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Position Full‑time Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC‑A), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFT‑A) at Ellie Mental Health of Rockwall, TX. Candidates with trauma or PTSD experience, or who specialize in children and families, are preferred. Salary and Benefits $72,000–$82,000 per year (W2, biweekly, direct deposit). Salary scales with client volume; minimum caseload 30 clients/week, up to 40 clients/week. Full‑time benefits available with a caseload of 25+ client visits per week. Up to 10 days PTO per year; 8 paid holidays; free CEUs; healthcare benefits and 401(k) will be added soon. Schedule & Work Setting Private outpatient office in Rockwall, TX. Monday‑Friday 10:00‑18:00 (optional 11:00‑19:00 shifts). A four‑day work week is possible if the minimum caseload is met. Client Population All ages 2‑99 years; a wide variety of issues. Client payment options include private pay, sliding scale, major medical, Medicare, and Medicaid. No‑Shows/Late Cancellations Clients must provide a minimum 24‑hour notice. No‑shows and late cancellations are paid on a case‑by‑case basis. EMR & Session Details EMR: Valent – paid training provided. Sessions last 53 minutes to 1 hour; clients typically attend weekly. Support and Collaboration On‑site daily collaboration with the Clinical Director. An open‑door policy and meetings are scheduled as needed. Responsibilities Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation, including diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy. Provide excellent customer service to clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to advance the mission of filling community gaps. Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals. Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol. Maintain a caseload of at least 25 client visits per week for full‑time status. Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed. Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings. Use a variety of treatment modalities for clients. Other responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in the designated field. Texas State clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LP, etc.). Experience completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients. Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner. Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base. Proficient in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valent experience a plus). Fully licensed clinicians ideally credentialed with insurance panels.
