Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | On-Call Required (1 day per week and 1 weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness throughout the recovery phase
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered, including pain management and antiemetics
• Document patient assessments and care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
• Participate in on-call rotations as required, including weekend call coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU nursing experience
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements including one day per week and one weekend per month
• Willingness to float to other units as needed per facility policy
• Compliance with facility dress code, including no artificial nails and covered body art

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records documentation system
• Familiarity with post-anesthesia care in a high-volume acute care or medical center setting
