State & Local Tax Associate Location: Multiple U.S. Offices A national law firm is seeking a State & Local Tax Associate with at least 3 years of experience to join its Tax practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated SALT matters within a collaborative and nationally integrated tax platform. Associates will advise clients on complex state and local tax issues affecting businesses across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on state and local tax planning and controversy matters Conduct legal research on SALT issues affecting corporate and business transactions Draft memoranda, advisory materials and client communications Support audits, disputes and administrative proceedings involving state tax authorities Collaborate with partners and tax professionals on multi-jurisdictional tax strategies Who You Are 3+ years of state and local tax experience Strong academic credentials Excellent analytical, research and writing skills Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of the office location Compensation Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package within a nationally recognised tax practice Interested?
