Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 19, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position requiring 2 years of EP/Cath Lab experience and an active OH or compact RN license.Details\n \n Work in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab within a cardiac hospital setting\n Perform procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, conduction studies, AICD insertion/programming, and pacemaker insertion\n Perform cath lab procedures such as cardiac implant closure device placement and pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal\n Utilizes Epic EMR system\n Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM\n Call requirement of 1 week every 2 months\n Unit accepts first-time travelers\n Requirements\n \n Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration\n Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required\n Current BLS and ACLS certifications required\n Experience with Epic EMR required\n Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures required\n Skills in ACT monitoring, cardioversion, sheath removal/monitoring, and vascular closure systems preferred\n Experience with ventilator management, IV therapy, and blood product administration preferred\n Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program\n 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leadership role; charge RN acceptable for the second reference; coworker references not accepted\n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity EP/Cath Lab environment supporting complex cardiac procedures\n Candidates must be prepared to complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly after signing due to strict timing requirements\n Former employees eligible for consideration once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more\n Current employees of Ohio State University hospital locations are ineligible for traveler positions\n Requested time off must be submitted with the application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less\n Local candidates are accepted at the same rate\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-727925.
