Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a part-time virtual OT supporting students across grade levels in a dynamic school setting. This short-term contract, starting as soon as possible for one to two months, involves working with a flexible, supportive team dedicated to enhancing student outcomes. Using virtual platforms, you will conduct re-evaluations, oversee PreK assessments on Fridays, dedicate at least one day weekly for IEP completion, and provide essential supervision to a COTA.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Louisiana is required
• Previous experience working in schools or with school-aged children strongly preferred
• Proficiency with remote assessment and therapy platforms
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with COTAs
• Clear communication and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive occupational therapy re-evaluations for students across different grade levels
• Perform PreK evaluations, specifically scheduled for Fridays
• Allocate at least one day each week for Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation and meetings
• Supervise and offer guidance to a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) throughout the assignment
• Maintain timely, accurate records and contribute to a positive virtual learning environment
