Operating Room Travel RN

Location: Anchorage, AK

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, three twelve-hour shifts (weekends if possible)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in orthopedic surgery, total joints, neurosurgery, and robotics. This role requires flexibility to work on call, with an average of 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift every four weeks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate while functioning as a circulator and resource for the sterile field.
• Collaborate with surgical teams for multi-level spine fusions and various Xi robotic cases (GYN, colorectal, general).
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment and equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Alaska RN license is required for submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience as a circulator and scrub nurse preferred. CNOR certification is a plus.
• Experience in orthopedic and neurological procedures, including total joints and robotic cases.
