What You’ll Do

• Provide offsite night call coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients
• Manage antepartum, labor & delivery, and gynecology emergencies
• Perform obstetric procedures including routine and complicated deliveries, C-sections, and emergent surgeries
• Conduct gynecologic surgeries such as ovarian cyst removal and ectopic pregnancy management
• Round on patients daily and coordinate care with hospital staff
• Support emergency OB services in a level III trauma and NICU setting
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management

What You Need

• Valid medical license in Colorado
• Extensive OB/GYN experience, including labor/delivery and gynecologic surgery
• Ability to work the full scheduled shift without early departure
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to complete EMR training upon arrival

About the Assignment

Join a fully staffed, Level III trauma hospital in Colorado Springs with onsite ultrasound and lab facilities. You’ll be supporting a team of dedicated OB/GYN professionals, covering hospital-wide obstetrics and gynecology needs, including high-risk pregnancies and emergent procedures. The facility handles approximately 60 deliveries per month and is equipped with in-house anesthesia and comprehensive support staff.
