Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory assessments-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-in adherence to established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, address discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required, ensuring every detail is handled with care.
• Document all procedures meticulously, foster the learning of new team members or students, and uphold lab quality assurance standards.
• Maintain a tidy, safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
