Location: Greater Tucson

The Phoenix Staffing is hiring experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians to work with leading apartment communities throughout Greater Tucson.

While some assignments are temporary—such as helping a community with additional work orders, property projects, employee absences, or seasonal needs— many of our openings are created because our clients have vacant maintenance positions they need to fill permanently. These temp-to-hire opportunities give you the chance to work at the community, demonstrate your skills, and potentially be hired directly as a full-time employee by our client.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete apartment service requests and general repairs
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and maintenance work
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready duties
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
• Maintain common areas, amenities, and property equipment
• Communicate professionally with residents and on-site team members
• Follow all property safety procedures and operational standards

What We’re Looking For

• At least one year of apartment or property maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• HVAC or EPA certification is a plus
• Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of an on-site team

If you are registered with another staffing agency...we pay more (at least $1 more per hour guaranteed). We are NOT just a temp agency (placing you a day here and a day there). We fill full time vacant positions. Our temp to hire is NOT 500+ hours like our competitors.
