We are a growing, family-owned automotive repair shop looking for a reliable and hardworking Automotive Apprentice / Lube Technician who wants to learn the trade and grow into a full automotive technician.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing things the right way, and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry .
You will start by assisting our technicians and performing basic vehicle maintenance while learning the skills necessary to become a professional technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, and windshield wipers
- Tire service including rotations, mounting, balancing, and wheel swaps
- Assist technicians with vehicle inspections and repairs
- Bring vehicles into the shop and position them on lifts
- Set up hoists safely for technicians
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization
- Take out trash and help maintain a clean, professional workspace
- Assist with shop tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Honest, Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Mechanical interest or basic automotive knowledge
- Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Positive attitude and team mindset
Growth Opportunity:
This position is designed as a training path toward becoming an Automotive Technician . Team members who demonstrate reliability, work ethic, and skill will have opportunities to advance within the shop.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
No weekends
