Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Florida
• Prior school-based experience is highly preferred
• Willingness and flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within Hendry County
• Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt services across grade levels (K–12)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, set goals, and monitor progress
• Implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district policies
• Provide support and resources to teachers and families to facilitate student success
• Adjust interventions to meet the developmental and academic needs of students across different age groups
