Retirement and Community Property Support Analyst

Retirement and Community Property Support Analyst (Analyst II) – Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month. Responsibilities Review, analyze and respond to court documents related to retirement and community property cases. Calculate pension benefits and perform mathematical calculations as part of job duties. Answer high volume phone inquiries about divorce and pension benefits. Assist members in navigating important life transitions related to retirement benefits. Support the CalPERS mission by providing accurate and timely information to members, attorneys, and internal stakeholders. Minimum Requirements Classification: Analyst II (salary range applicable). Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Experience reading and interpreting complex information such as claims or court documents. Experience performing mathematical calculations relevant to pension benefit determinations. Current or prior experience in a public employee retirement or community property support role (preferred). Desired Qualifications Experience reading and interpreting court documents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented, with strong time‑management ability. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, office-centered environment. Telework Hybrid work schedule: up to two remote days and three or more onsite days per week.
