Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders and referrals
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise COTAs according to practice acts and facility policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)
- Active state OT license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical expertise in occupational therapy
- Accurate and thorough documentation
- Effective communication with patients, families, and teams
- Ability to supervise and delegate tasks appropriately
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations
