Registered Medication Aide (RMA) Location: Shalom Parkside Senior Living — Richmond, VA Schedule: Part Time (7-3 & 11-7), Every Other Weekend (3-11) Pay Rate: $18.50-$21.15/hr (based on experience, shift differentials may apply) About Us At Shalom Parkside Senior Living , we create a warm, home-like environment where residents are treated like family. We’re looking for a caring and dependable Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our dedicated team and help make every day meaningful for our residents. Position Summary The Registered Medication Aide is responsible for safely and accurately administering medications, monitoring residents, and assisting with daily living activities as needed — all while maintaining a positive and supportive environment. Responsibilities Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with state regulations and facility policy. Observe residents for side effects, changes in condition, or unusual reactions and report promptly to nursing staff. Assist residents with personal care and daily activities as needed. Support residents’ emotional and social well-being through compassionate interactions. Maintain accurate medication records and uphold confidentiality. Promote safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Qualifications Current Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification in the State of VA. Prior experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused.
