Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Department Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Mission Hills, California. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Candidates are required to bring their California state license on the first day of assignment. The position accommodates a 12-hour shift schedule, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Mission Hills, California
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current California license; at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and advanced certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating for cesarean sections; previous work in facilities with a minimum of 200 deliveries per month; familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) systems and clinical protocols for labor and delivery.
• Additional Information: Candidates may be required to assist with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. Knowledge of hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety procedures is essential.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Must include responses regarding prior employment at a similar facility, recent Fire Card within 30 days, and two references covering a minimum of one year within the last three years.
