TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-timers not accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Experience in inpatient labor and delivery and post-anesthesia care unit Description: Minimum experience required is two years. First-timers are not accepted for this position. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the pushback is two weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Clinical candidates will be reviewed for clinical fit before being sent for final decision. Travel experience is required. Certifications must include ACLS and BLS. Skills required include a range of clinical competencies such as anticoagulation therapy, blood product administration, pain management, and more. Daily average census is twelve with an eight-bed capacity. Staffing ratio is 1:1. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend unless otherwise specified. Major holiday work is expected if it falls within the assignment period. If one major holiday occurs, work is required. If two major holidays occur, work on both is expected. If three holidays occur, work on two is required. Full compliance must be achieved within 48 hours of contract signing. All compliance documents are due by the specified Tuesday prior to start. Modules are non-billable and factors into the orientation. Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidate will need to perform various duties related to assessment, management, and patient care.
