Cybersecurity Product Researcher

Collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams, the full-time Security Product Researcher will investigate, design, and develop solutions for complex network security challenges while utilizing AI technologies to enhance Corelight's cybersecurity offerings. Key responsibilities Lead rapid prototyping initiatives by coding and scripting solutions using tools like Zeek, Suricata, and AI/LLMs Manage projects from concept to customer deployment, iterating quickly and effectively on solutions Partner with product, research, and engineering leaders to drive the development of innovative network security AI products Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in agile development within a full-stack environment, particularly with LLM and agentic AI ecosystems Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, focusing on network detection and response Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders Knowledge of computer networking, including the OSI model and network security concepts Experience with security operations, threat hunting, and incident response procedures
