Family Medicine Physician – Primary Care – Van Buren, Maine Area

Compensation: $275,000–$375,000 annually

HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine Physician for an established, nonprofit healthcare organization in Northern Maine, within commuting distance of Van Buren.

This opportunity offers the chance to practice comprehensive family medicine in a collaborative, community-focused setting supported by an integrated network of primary care, specialty, behavioral health, dental, diagnostic, and hospital services. Full-time, part-time, and contract arrangements may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan
• Conduct routine physical examinations, wellness visits, and health screenings
• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage chronic medical conditions through evidence-based care
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide preventive care, immunizations, and patient education
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialty providers
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in applicable quality-improvement and population-health initiatives
• Build trusted, continuity-based relationships with patients and families

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
• Active Maine medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Appropriate prescribing credentials as required
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Commitment to accessible, patient-centered primary care
• Interest in rural or community-based medicine

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual compensation range is $275,000–$345,000 . Starting compensation will be determined by experience, education, credentials, schedule, employment structure, internal equity, and other applicable factors.
