Job Details

This CDL A Yard Driver role is based in Patterson, CA and pays $30.68 per hour. The work combines yard moves with occasional shuttle runs to Modesto and locations throughout the Bay Area. This TransForce driving opportunity offers a local assignment with support from a dedicated TransForce team.

This role requires a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.

Pay & Schedule

• $30.68 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1350
• Monday through Friday
• 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Approximately 1 to 2 hours of overtime per day may be available based on operational needs

What You'll Be Doing

• Move, spot, and position loaded and empty trailers throughout the distribution center yard and at dock doors.
• Couple and uncouple tractors and trailers, chock trailers, and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Occasionally shuttle trailers to a warehouse in Modesto or transport trailers to locations throughout the Bay Area.
• Perform no-touch freight work while following facility, state, federal, DOT, and safety requirements.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
