The most meaningful work of your career is waiting. Join us.This is a first-shift position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT. The role is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week.About the Role:Conduct thorough inspections (in-process and final) on propulsion components, large structures and mechanical assembliesUse precision hand tools to perform dimensional inspections on flight hardwareIdentify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of quality initiatives within the organizationDiligently review all hardware requirements and determine pass/fail status, documenting outcomes and any non-conformances or deviations foundTake closeout photos of large integrated assemblies upon completion of final walkdownsUse borescopes to perform FOD inspections on machined parts or other assembly cavitiesAbout You:5+ years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment, supporting production hardwareExpert proficiency with precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gages)Proven ability to work closely with design engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to resolve inspection and quality issuesDemonstrated ability to perform thorough inspections and ensure strict compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirementsClear and effective communicator, capable of interfacing with inspectors, engineers, production personnel, and quality stakeholdersHands-on experience with MRB processes, including identification, documentation, and disposition of non-conforming hardware, along with the ability to stand for extended periods on the production floor, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 25 lbsAt Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
