Job Description

Join a dynamic team working on a variety of commercial carpentry projects across Chicagoland and surrounding areas. You will lead a crew of 2 to 4 carpenters, providing training and direction to ensure timely completion of projects. Responsibilities include commercial metal stud framing, drywall installation, acoustic ceilings, and more.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 2 to 4 carpenters on commercial projects.
• Provide training and direction on site to ensure deadlines are met.
• Perform commercial metal stud framing and drywall installation.
• Install acoustic ceilings and complete finishing carpentry tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in commercial carpentry.
• Proficient in metal stud framing and acoustic ceiling installation.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Ownership of carpentry tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in finish carpentry.
• Residential carpentry experience.
• A well-rounded carpentry is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in both outdoor and indoor settings, including new constructions and remodel environments. Projects are scheduled close to candidates' residences whenever possible.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
