Quick Facts Location: Fort Carson, Colorado Start Date: 08/31/2026 End Date/Duration: 11/30/2027 (1-year commitment with extension options) Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, on-call requirements Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certs: Unrestricted U.S. medical license; ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications Experience: Minimum 2 years OB/GYN experience within last 6 years or 1 year in hospital setting Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $145.00 Benefits: Competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, robust referral bonus program, licensure, certification, travel and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Diagnose and treat conditions of reproductive and genitourinary systems Perform obstetric procedures, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections Conduct pelvic exams, pap smears, ultrasounds, IUD placements, and GYN surgeries like hysterectomies Provide prenatal care, manage antenatal patients, evaluate abnormal pap smears Participate in on-call rotations (night, weekend, holiday shifts) Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans Ensure high-quality patient care in a supportive hospital environment What You Need Doctorate from an accredited medical school (MD or DO) Unrestricted U.S. medical license Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (American Board or equivalent) Current ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications Minimum 2 years’ OB/GYN experience within last 6 years or 1 year hospital experience Strong clinical and communication skills About the Assignment This position is based at a leading healthcare facility in Fort Carson, Colorado, providing comprehensive OB/GYN services to active-duty military personnel and their families.
