divh2Interim Director Of Pharmacy/h2pGreat new career opportunity in long-term care pharmacy!/ppNow hiring - Interim Director of Pharmacy (Elizabeth, NJ) (Westwood, NJ)/ppCareOne at Trinitas/ppSalary range $125,000 - $130,000/ppThe Interim Director of Pharmacy will be responsible for, but not limited to:/ppEssential job functions:/ppClinical:/pulliEnsure hospital is in compliance with all New Jersey state acute care licensing regulations./liliMentoring and training staff members to enhance their professional development/li/ululliAccountable for the pharmacy portion of the electronic healthcare record including system design, testing, validation, trouble shooting and user training./liliOversees pharmacys role in patient care rounds and consults with health care providers to ensure optimal drug therapy; makes recommendations regarding selection, dosing and administration of medications./liliEnsures documentation of pharmacist provided patient care services and medical therapy outcomes./liliPerforms analysis on complied patient care area inspections to ensure proper drug availability, storage and dating./liliEnsures accuracy of work completed by support personnel, in compliance with established policies and procedures./liliPlans and implements policies and procedures./liliLeads antimicrobial stewardship including any other future stewardships as related to pharmacy./liliPrepares pharmacy budget evaluations and formulary management utilizing research methods to identify the most cost-effective use of medications./liliResponsible for the provision of formal patient and staff education programs./liliProvides drug information services to patients and health care providers to deliver high quality care./liliParticipates in appropriate committees./liliOversees medication waste programs./li/ulpEducation:/ppBachelors degree in pharmacy, PharmD preferred/ppProfessional experience:/pulliRegistered pharmacist license within the state of operations/lili5 years of pharmacy experience, preferably within long term care/lili3 years in a supervisory capacity/liliFrameworkLTC experience, a strong plus/li/ulh2About Us/h2pThe CareOne mission is to define excellence within the health care community.
