Territory Manager

Leggett & Platt Flooring Products is searching for a Territory Manager to join our collaborative, innovative, and close‑knit West Coast sales team. This position will support major markets in Utah, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and Alberta, and will be based in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan area. The Territory Manager will service existing and prospective customers, working closely with our manufacturing facilities and customer service team to ensure orders are delivered on time. You will build strong relationships with long‑term customers, research, qualify, and develop prospective customers, and execute a sales strategy while reporting progress to management. Responsibilities Assist customers with product knowledge and training Represent products at trade shows and similar functions Collaborate with manufacturing facilities Work with customer service team to ensure all orders are delivered as needed Manage account pricing Resolve account and credit issues Expand sales Qualifications High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of successful sales experience (outside sales preferred) A Bachelor’s degree if no direct sales experience, preferably in a business‑related field Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Overnight travel required weekly Preferred Qualifications Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience in the flooring industry Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veteran/Disability Employer.
