Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a General Pediatrics/Peds Float Pool night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Position is based in Albany, NY within a general pediatrics and pediatric float pool unit
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in general pediatrics required
• Epic EMR experience is required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
• All certifications (BLS, etc.) must be from AHA or RQI
• US Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal or religious declinations will not be accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside the following counties to be eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• Candidates must live beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within the 13-week contract period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
