AI Product Content & Digital Merchandising Manager - Contract to Hire

Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid | Onsite in Uptown New York City We are seeking an AI Product Content & Creative Manager to own digital product presentation across thousands of SKUs for both wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. This person will lead the creation, organization, and execution of product imagery, product copy, and retailer‑ready digital assets that support launches, improve sell‑through, and protect brand standards across every customer touchpoint. This role is critical to the business. The right candidate will ensure that product information, imagery, and required metadata are complete, accurate, and delivered on time so inventory can launch smoothly across retailer portals and Shopify without preventable delays. They will also partner closely with creative leadership, design, and retailer digital teams on special projects, collaborations, and seasonal launches. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of best‑in‑class AI product photography and model imagery using current AI tools and workflows. Execute high‑level image editing and compositing, including placing jewelry onto models with a natural, polished, luxury‑driven aesthetic. Partner closely with creative leadership and the design team to ensure every asset reflects the intended brand positioning, product story, and visual direction. Manage all Shopify and retailer product assets, ensuring each style has complete and accurate copy, measurements, country of origin, materials, descriptions, and imagery. Upload, organize, and maintain retailer‑required product information for new launches to support speed to market and strong digital presentation. Coordinate directly with major retail partners’ digital teams on special projects, collaborations, and product setup requirements. Qualifications Strong background in graphic design, digital asset production, and AI image generation. A strong eye for fashion and jewelry, with exceptional taste and visual judgment. Clear understanding of what drives conversion and performance across e‑commerce and retail channels. Excellent organization, follow‑through, and attention to detail across high‑volume product assortments. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast‑paced environment managing thousands of SKUs.
