Amazon Business Operations Manager at Tarte Cosmetics The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and has strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and address operational challenges. This position will support the Key Accounts team in a fast‑paced and changing environment and will report to the Key Accounts Director. Responsibilities Support the Amazon account team for all needs related to Amazon business Serve as the cross‑functional lead for Tarte’s Amazon Premium Beauty business managing the full operational and commercial lifecycle Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term strategies to accelerate Amazon growth while maintaining brand equity and profitability Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and procedures to optimize business performance Drive forecasting needs, revenue planning, and sell‑in/sell‑through analysis Manage Amazon‑specific KPIs (NetPPM, ASP, buyability, conversion rate, in‑stock %, CRaP avoidance, chargebacks, Share of Voice, content compliance) Develop an intimate understanding of each product category’s top sellers, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities Monitor and report infringements in Brand Registry Identify assortment, promotions, and pricing strategies to grow contribution margin and optimize product lifecycle performance Lead all backend operations in Vendor Central including product setup, Vine, BTR Partner with Retail Operations on key KPIs, inventory flow, PO tracking, case pack optimization, logistics troubleshooting Partner with demand planning on promotional forecasts, launch planning, forecast accuracy, and inventory health Manage chargebacks and build strategies to minimize impact Analyze traffic, search trends, and keyword performance to influence product positioning and advertising efficiency Partner with internal digital marketing and creative teams to support Amazon merchandising and marketing campaigns Ensure A+ content and Brand Store are aligned with brand standards and optimized for conversion Qualifications 4‑6 years of experience in eCommerce managing Amazon (preferably 1P/Premium Beauty) Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and translate into actionable plans Proficiency in Microsoft Office Proficiency in Amazon Vendor Central, AMS, Brand Registry, and eCommerce analytics tools (Helium10, Catapult, Keepa, or similar) Experience with forecasting, inventory management, data analytics, P&L development, budget management, merchandising, and digital marketing Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external cross‑functional partners Strong project management skills Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects and high volume of deadlines Highly motivated, thrive in a fast‑paced and demanding environment, passionate about cosmetics Experience in beauty or premium categories a plus Benefits & Compensation Salary: $80,000‑115,000 (compensation depends on experience & education) Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, and access to health & wellness programs Makeup gratis, employee discount on tarte.com, team give‑back initiatives Friendly, fun, creative & collaborative work environment Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Tarte Cosmetics by 2x.
