Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 05/25/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment for pediatric patients to older adults based on diagnosed conditions. Candidates must possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Compassionate and sensitive treatment is a prerequisite. The ideal candidate also demonstrates critical thinking and quick response in emergencies. Requirements Proven experience as Speech Language Pathologist. Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements. Independent decision‑making skills. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families. At least 2 years of SLP experience. Responsibilities Play an important part in helping patients recover and feel better by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements. Handle responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws.
