We are currently hiring a Security Officer in Joliet, IL Come join a diverse and inclusive team that believes in providing excellent customer service and recognizes that its greatest asset is its employees.

As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public. This role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Essential Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license preferred; May be Required, Depending on Post
• Reliable transportation and means of communication
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings

The following shifts are available:

SHIFT:

• Monday & Tuesday 2 pm - 10 pm; Saturday & Sunday 6 am - 6 pm

Pay Rate: $18.87/HR
