How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Timely Care Coordination: Streamlines the diagnostic imaging timeline, ensuring that critical reports, biopsied, and next steps are efficiently communicated to patients and referring providers.
• Clinical Patient Education: Translates complex imaging procedures and pathology results into clear, understandable terms, helping patients make informed decisions about their care plan.
• Psychosocial and Barrier Support: Identifies and eliminates barrier to care, such as transportation, financial, or emotional hurdles. Provides direct, closed-loop communication for sensitive results.
• Continuity of Care:  Acts as the primary point of contact for the patient, guiding them seamlessly from initial screening to surgical consultations or specialized oncology services.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Prior RN Navigator experience in a busy Radiology or Breast Imaging atmosphere is highly valued
