Dental Assistant Deerwood Orthodontics is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. This position will support both our Appleton–Ballard and Green Bay locations, so the selected candidate must be comfortable traveling between both offices. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and adaptable team member who has strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Dental experience is preferred, and orthodontic experience is considered a strong plus; however, prior dental experience is not required. We are open to an exceptional candidate who demonstrates professionalism, a strong work ethic, outstanding references, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, cross-train, support the needs of the team, and help provide an exceptional experience for every patient.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

Preferred Experience

• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Dental assisting school certification
