About the Social Media Manager Position The Brian Hamilton Foundation is looking for a world-class social media manager to own and grow the digital presence of entrepreneur Brian Hamilton and the Brian Hamilton Foundation, from content capture to strategy and execution. This is an end-to-end social media role. You will manage Brian's personal social pages and the Foundation's accounts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond, handling everything from start to finish. In this role, you will capture photos/videos, write captions, post content, analyze their performance, and build the strategy to grow the audience. You will work directly with our founder, Brian Hamilton. He founded Sageworks (now Abrigo), one of the world’s first fintech companies, which has helped thousands of banks and millions of business owners. He is known for his pioneering work in fintech, his advocacy for small businesses, and his commitment to criminal justice reform. His work has been featured by major media outlets such as Good Morning America, and he starred in ABC’s Free Enterprise, an award-winning series based on Inmates to Entrepreneurs. This role requires a highly creative, self-directed individual with strong strategic thinking and an eye for world-class branding. Responsibilities Content creation — Capture original photos and video, write compelling copy, and produce content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more Account management — Own and manage all posting, scheduling, engagement, and community management across Brian's personal and Foundation accounts Brand positioning — Represent Brian Hamilton and the Brian Hamilton Foundation with consistency and authenticity across all platforms Growth strategy — Develop and execute strategies to grow followers, reach, and engagement Analytics & optimization — Track performance, analyze what’s working, and continuously improve content and strategy based on data Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.7+ 2+ years of experience owning social media end-to-end (strategy, content, execution, and growth) An eye for great content and strong visual instincts Exceptional written communication skills Proven track record of growing social media accounts Belief in the mission of entrepreneurship and second chances Ability to work full-time in our Apex, NC office (not remote or hybrid) This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
