Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Summary:
Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other medical sites. Ensure high-quality imaging and diagnostic accuracy to support patient care and interpretation by radiologists and cardiologists.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, submitting images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Unload portable X-ray equipment and operate it at various facilities, capturing diagnostically sound and technically competent images.
• Conduct EKGs as needed, transmitting results to cardiologists for timely review.
• Scan and manage exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily according to protocol.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and clients, maintaining professional interaction.
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of vehicle and X-ray equipment to meet safety and operational standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state with clean driving record.
• ARRT certification and active state license, as required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing/pulling equipment weighing 50-100 lbs. with appropriate tools.
• Proven experience in portable X-ray and EKG procedures.
• Maintain compliance with health requirements, vaccinations, and operational protocols.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism in client and team interactions.
