Job Description
Title
Labor & Delivery RN

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year labor & delivery experience
- Required certifications: NRP, BLS
- Preferred: Circulator experience for C-sections, neonatal experience (Level 1/newborn care)
- Experience with EPIC charting system

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for laboring and postpartum patients
- Manage vaginal deliveries and VBAC cases
- Conduct newborn assessments and provide Level 1 nursery care
- Support C-section procedures and post-operative recovery
- Recognize and treat postpartum hemorrhage and manage pre-eclampsia
- Manage IV/infusion pumps and monitor epidural recovery

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 25 hours with pre-start modules averaging 16 hours
- Documentation required for submission: SSN, DOB, 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must commit to working 3 of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- On-call duty may be required for low-census standby
