Location: Lalla Grill Del Monte

Job Type: Part-Time & Full-Time Availability

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week. Nights

Pay: $21-$23 per hour + tips included

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates who do not meet the minimum will NOT be considered:

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional kitchen experience.
• Prior experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Formal culinary training is preferred.
• Must be fluent in Spanish; English proficiency preferred.
• Strong cooking skills with excellent time management and multitasking ability.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent quality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Valid Food Handler Card required shortly after hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Culinary & Kitchen Operations:
• Execute food preparation and cooking on designated line stations.
• Maintain consistent portioning, flavor, and presentation for every dish.
• Follow recipes, prep lists, and kitchen procedures accurately.
• Complete daily prep and keep stations fully stocked before service.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Teamwork & Communication:
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and FOH when needed.
• Coordinate timing on tickets to ensure smooth service flow.
• Support fellow cooks and kitchen staff during rush periods.
• Assist in training new team members when assigned.
• Contribute to a respectful, positive, team-oriented environment.
• Professionalism & Problem Solving:
• Stay calm and efficient during peak hours.
• Adapt quickly when workload or station demands shift.
• Address concerns about food quality or safety promptly.
• Uphold Lalla Grill's high standards at all times.

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shifts.
• Night shifts required.
• Weekends and holidays required.
