Coordinate and schedule resources to provide appropriate QA inspection and testing for all construction efforts on a daily and weekly basis.Provide training for to ensure appropriate training quality procedures are in place, through pre-activity meetings and daily on-site reviews.Ensure all quality inspector staff has appropriate training and certification for the types of construction activities they will be overseeing.Verify that all sampling and testing personnel have the appropriate training and certification for the types of materials they will be testing.Maintain a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) log.Maintain utility relocations inspection information.Develop and maintain a list of lab equipment available, latest calibration data, and date of inspection.Schedule Hold Points as audits of on-going construction work for the duration of the project.Coordinate with owner quality verification testing, inspection, and Independent Assurance (IA) requirements.You'll thrive here if you haveBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field plus 6 years of relevant construction inspection experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Associates Degree in a related field plus 6 years of relevant construction inspection experience, would be consideredExperience on heavy civil construction projectsUnderstanding of technical requirements for construction systems, materials and equipment (electrical, mechanical, architectural/structural)Strong structural concrete experience in heavy civil construction projectsExperience representing contractor and owners' interests as site or trades representativeHighly organized with strong analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with project management level personnelAbility to multi-task and work both in a team and independentlyProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteFlexible hours required for construction observations and oversightMust be capable of climbing ladders/scaffolding and working at elevated locations, including building roofs, and bridgesWhat you can expect from usHealth & Wellness: We offer medical, dental and vision coverage with multiple plan options, including no-cost employee-only medical coverage.Time Off & Family Support: We offer vacation time, paid holidays, sick & safety leave (SSL) and paid parental leaveRetirement: We help employees plan for the future with a 401(k) and company match.Insurance: To provide protection and peace of mind, we offer Life, AD&D (Accidental Death & Dismemberment) and Disability insurance.Safety Program: We are committed to safety as part of our 'quality of life' core value, and we provide approved PPE at no cost and reimbursement for prescription safety glasses and protective footwear.Learning & Development: We provide clear career paths, learning resources and development programs allowing you to see how you can grow and advance within the company.
