Job Details Payroll Supervisor Salary Range: $70,304 - 80,000/year Job Location: Corp (Stanton) - Stanton, CA 90680 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Job Category: Accounting / Finance (ACT) Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the payroll department while providing leadership and support to payroll staff Review and process payroll for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance Audit timecards, payroll adjustments, deductions, overtime, garnishments, and tax withholdings Resolve complex payroll issues while partnering with Human Resources, Finance, and Operations Lead payroll reconciliations, reporting, audits, and internal control processes Develop and improve payroll procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy Train, coach, and develop payroll personnel while maintaining exceptional customer service Qualifications Five or more years of payroll experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities Experience processing payroll for a large, multi-location or multi-state employer Strong understanding of California wage and hour laws and payroll compliance Advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS/payroll systems such as Paycom Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills CPP certification, Bachelor’s degree, bilingual Spanish, and industrial or transportation industry experience are a plus Benefits Stable, growing company serving communities across multiple states Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to lead an essential business function with visibility across the organization Collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence Career growth opportunities within one of the region’s leading environmental services companies Equal Employment Opportunity Statement CR&R Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
