Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, transparently communicating each procedure with empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and attending physicians to ensure accurate and high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and ensure efficient operation of imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures meticulously and uphold patient records accurately within our electronic medical system
• Continuously stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
