Borsheims is seeking a full-time Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team. This role is essential in delivering our Signature Service to every customer. Our Sales Associates are responsible for assisting customers in-store, online, and over the phone with selecting and purchasing merchandise in order to maximize company sales; put out new merchandise in cases, organizes, and cleans sales areas; and processes sales, repairs, returns, and other transactions.

Job Duties

• Deliver Borsheims' Signature Service by creating exceptional experiences for customers in-store, online, and over the phone.
• Build relationships with customers and assist them in selecting jewelry and gifts that mark life's special occasions.
• Share product knowledge, explain features and benefits, answer questions, and confidently guide customers through the purchasing process.
• Utilize technology, including CRM tools, point-of-sale systems, vendor portals, and online resources to support customers and drive sales.
• Develop a loyal client base through outreach, follow-up, and clienteling efforts for special events, promotions, and future purchases.
• Process special orders, engravings, and customer requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support ecommerce fulfillment and sales order management.
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor is organized, stocked, and presentation-ready.
• Participate in ongoing training, product knowledge sessions, and vendor seminars.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on delivering an elevated luxury retail experience.

• Jewelry experience is a plus but not required; we provide training for the right candidate.

Essential Job Functions

• Ability to work assigned schedule on a regular basis.
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to see well enough to read small print, identify merchandise, read a computer screen and printout, and count currency.
• Ability to hear and speak well enough to converse with others in person, via telephone and paging system.
• Ability to move about the store from department to department, get behind narrow counter areas, bend down or reach up into drawers/shelves, and climb a ladder to retrieve merchandise from shelves.
• Dexterity to write in small print, handle small jewelry/gift items, operate a computer keyboard, and operate office equipment.
• Stamina to stand and/or walk for over eight hours.
• Ability to lift and carry approximately 20 lbs.
